• Commentary: Albino Cavefish are used by Alchemists to make Deepstone Oil, 2 of which are used to make Mysterious Potion. Mysterious Potion recovers a random (1 to 15,000, may crit) amount of health and mana - risky to use in an emergency. However, amounts are "scaled upwards by the Alchemy skill, making it a great choice for alchemists to keep for themselves" (Wryxian). This fish should be worth catching for Alchemists, even if it is only used for leveling the profession.

   I haven't come across this in the forums, so I just wanted to add that the Deepstone Oil made from Albino Cavefish are also used to make Vial of the Sands (8 per Vial):

   Indeed. Deepstone Oil's only viable use is to make Vial of the Sands. It makes the cavefish a good fish to farm for reliable money, but you can often wind up sitting on stacks of them while they sell.
