Newman's Landing

  1. Yurreiro, December 2009:

There's no info for Newman's Landing, which you can now fish out of.. so I'm going to fish up 1000 fish at least in order to get data for it. :D

  2. el, December 2009:

I've not checked this, so please post what you find.

I have a hunch a few of these remote places changed just after WotLK was patched. The pattern used to be quite simple:

    • Named seas contained the coastal fish of the nearest zone.
    • Coastal areas within named zones contained inland fish from that zone.

Except, then the Death Knight starting area was added, and I suspect someone noticed that this wasn't very logical, so went back and fixed other places with weird catches...

  3. Yurreiro, December 2009:

eh I lost heart after 100 catches.. I looked at the loot and started connecting the dots. it's the same a 25-35 level coastlines.

I was wanting to get a rare fish but seeing how coastlines of this level range don't have rare fish..

    out of 100 catches:

    57 Raw Rockscale Cod

    20 Raw Spotted Yellowtail

    11 Firefin Snapper

    9 Oily Blackmouth

    1 Sealed Crate

    1 Sturdy Locked Chest

Interesting, thanks. It's coastal zone group 4 (see Gazetteer) - like Arathi Highlands or most of Stranglethorn Vale.
