And also:
Have Looked Everywhere and Cant Seem To Find a Site That I Can Use To Sell My Catches at the AH. If Anyone Knows of a Site Please Lemme Know ASAP. Price Doesnt Need to Be Perfect, Just a Rough Average Of What People are Paying for Fish, cooked/raw. Fish is My Primary Source of Income and This Info. Would Help Me Out Immensly.
Stalyn, October 2010:
I've only used Dragonfin Angelfish as my mass seller, and they sell for 11-10g for 5 cooked fish (Dragonfin Filet sells for about 10, while Blackened Dragonfin 11). You catch Dragonfin Angelfish mostly in the pools of the lake slightly north-west of the Kalu'ak Village in Dragonblight. There are usually 2-4 pools in there at a time, and you can make some good gold off the Pygmy Suckerfish as well. I usually end up with a bit more than 40 when I get 100 Angelfish.
Enarka, October 2010:
I personally like to sell Glacial Salmon and Dragonfin Angelfish best.
The prices vary per server; raw fish seems to go for 2 to 3.5G each lately, whereas the cooked often net me 4.25 to 6.75 depending on the recipe. Any type of cooked dragonfin is a best seller on my server =)
If you'd care, however, the old world fish are VERY profitable.
Raw Whitescale Salmon
Darkclaw Lobster
Raw Sunscale SalmonThey sell for 2.5G each and require very little attention. The good thing is you can actually sell them without competition =)
el, October 2010:
More suggestions:
- Take a look at Valuable Fish for some ideas of what sort of fish tend to be valuable.
- Check prices at sites like wowecon.com, which give rough data from many realms.
- Download an Auction House addon, such as Auctioneer or Auctionator, which will let you monitor prices on your realm (these can be downloaded from sites such as curse.com ).
(I deleted your other similar topic - you only need to make one topic per subject.)
Hells Angler, October 2010:

Fishing in Uldum at 80?
kattiara17, December 2010:
I'd like to fish up a few stacks of Lavascale Catfish as soon as possible. Since Deepholm is locked until 82, any estimates as to how hard it might or might not be to fish in Uldum at level 80? Would it just be constant aggro from mobs, or are there some relatively safe spots?
Druidmoon, December 2010:
Last hotfix notes included (and posted few threads back)
Crafty players again found a way to catch Cataclysm fish. Crafty designers have made this impossible without a Cataclysm key attached to a players account.
So there is no way anymore to fish in these zones until release. Also, unless using an exploit, it was never possible to fish inland waters in these zones, at least in Uldum for those fish.
On release, with flying enabled, it should be possible to find a safe spot.
kattiara17, December 2010:
Oh, I didn't mean now, I meant on release. I know it was hotfixed. Sorry I didn't state that more clearly.
I just wasn't sure if there would be relatively safe fishing areas for me if I fly a level 80 character out there, or if it would be a constant stream of mobs aggroing me because they'd be 4-5 levels higher.
el, December 2010:
If you are flying it will be fairly easy to find safe open waters in Uldum: For example, at neutral town of Ramkahen in the centre, or waters on the north-west side of the Obelisk of the Moon. Pools will be somewhat harder, because there are plenty of high-level crocodiles along the river bank. Without flight, fishing is possible, but not so easy: Inland fish can be caught in the delta of the river, just south of the Lost City of the Tol'vir, which can be reached by swimming along the coast.
Misskatonic, January 2011:
I tried the Uldam locations you mentioned today and found them to be the easiest spots to fish cata fish that I have tried. Not only are there tons of schools all around the areas mentioned but the aggro ranges and mob dispertion lends itself well to fishing for low level characters. My toon is level 31 and she is having a blast sneaking into the high level areas to ninja fish. I was able to catch a ton of fish, grab a few flight paths and explore the beautiful ruins around the area without dying more than 5 times or so. Highly recommended!
Marlburo, January 2011:
yeah ive been fishing uldum nearly exclusively. with water walking (or levitate) you can pretty much avoid 99% of the alligators. There are two spots in the northern part of the lake outside of ramkahen and another a couple pools north of that those water snakes will jump up and grab ya.

Why Did You Capitalize Every Word ?
Kahless, November 2010:
Also, the characters you have listed in your profile Do Not Have The Salty Achievement.
Your aquarium list is also false. You haven't caught most of the fish you claim to.

To avoid embarrassing yourself, please remove the Salty title and aquarium fish from your forum profile and stop spamming adds for your services.Gohnk, November 2010:
Wait, isn't it probably easier to level cooking during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday??
IIRC, you can level up your alts' cooking 1-350 in a matter of minutes.
New Fish are Gold!
Hells Angler, December 2010:
Anyone else making 500-1000g per day selling all the new types of fish? Yes, there are a few junk fish but I cant keep most types on the shelf.
Christhina, December 2010:
Haven't really tried yet on moving into the AH (Proudmoore-US-A), as I figured few were yet raiding, though I plan to shortly.
I'm a bit puzzled as to the recipes we have available, it seems there is no really good recipe using fish for melee DPS (the +90str stat food coming instead from Crocolisk Tails).
As someone who's always used to being able to fish and cook my own "best in slot" stat food (emphasis on the fishing), I've kept top level fishing and cooking on all my toons, so I'm a bit peeved at Blizzard for the lack of choice - though I'm hoping a content patch or hotfix may rectify things.
chautauqua, December 2010:
After an initial high-priced rush, most of my Striped Lurkers and Mountain Trout are languishing in the AH.
Enarka, December 2010:
Lavascale Catfish/Albino Cavefish are my best sellers.
I really fish too much, though. I personally destroy the Sharptooth/Lurkers I get. They just don't sell and take up way too much place.
Dark Herring and DustBringer Info....
Hells Angler, November 2010:
I have been non-stop hunting these two fish, as I have a Strictly Fishing guild/toon. It would be awesome to have both of these as my main weapons on this toon to promote fishing along with my guild. Have mad atleast 3500 casts on un-named Howling Fjord coastline, along with fishing Fangtooth pools (1500 cast minimum) Me nor my Fishing Officer have had ANY luck catching these ulta-rare fish.
*Does Auto-Loot work to catch the guys or do you need to click em?

* Watch TV while you're fishing to make it less boring
* Caldemere Lake, standing in front of Drogan Ironshaper, open water (not a pool)/December 28, 2008/Arcanite Pole, no lure
