About Frostfire Ridge

Fishing in Frostfire Ridge

New or changed in Warlords of Draenor, the next expansion, which is not yet available.

  • Notes:

Frostfire Ridge is the Horde entry zone into Draenor. Although Contested, the zone's activity is dominated by the Horde. The zone's coastline is surrounded by cliffs. Patches of inland water can be found at the Bones of Agurak, Grombolash, and in the Horde Garrison. Most inland fishing is from lava.
  • Commentary:

For Alliance anglers, the most convenient place to fish Fire Ammonite is at The Bones of Agurak, next to the path between Gorgrond and Frostfire Ridge. Both open water and Fire Ammonite Schools can be fished at The Bones of Agurak.
  • Quests:

The Horde Garrison in Frostfire Ridge is the focus of several quests, detailed in Garrison Fishing.
  • History:

Warlords of Draenor: First fish caught.
