   My data is showing nearly 45% open water catching Lavascale...anyone else notice an increased drop rate in the last 2 months or so?

   Thanks. On a quick test, Uldum inland open water is around 40% Lavascale Catfish, 40% Sharptooth and 20% Blackbelly Mudfish, plus a small chance of Volatile Water. May have changed with the same 4.3 hotfix that added Deepsea Sagefish Schools.

   Lavascale Fillet is also an ingredient for the engineering recipe "Goblin Barbecue," which while not as good as Seafood Magnifique, is still a group meal that provides 60 Stamina & 60 Useful Stat.

   I didn't make any notes about drop rates or anything, but I thought that Lavascale Catfish were dropping a lot more for me than the last time I remember fishing for them.

   Looks like the first post in a year on this. Trying to get the mats for the cogwheel gems. Went to Vir'naal River and after 25 minutes using Weather Beaten hat, Nat's Lucky fishing pole and only aiming for open water I landed 50 Sharptooth, 40 LavaScale, 17 Mudfish and 5 volatile waters.
