Comments about Naxxramas
Below are readers' comments about "Naxxramas":
Thalen, April 2009:
For some reason, last night while our guild was messing around in Naxx, someone decided to try fishing in the acid around Patchwerk's room (it wasn't me!). Turns out, you can fish in that stuff.
I didn't see everything that was fished up, but there were 3-4 different junk (gray) items that were in there, I got a SS that showed:
Wowhead shows a listing for Coagulated Slime as well. All items vendor for a few copper.
I didn't see it listed here anywhere, so I thought I'd mention it if anyone was interested. I didn't get a chance to look for other fishing spots in there, but there are a few locations that I'd think would have potential.
And not a clue about the fishing level requirements, I know some of the people fishing weren't at max skill (one was only at Artisan level) so based on that and the level of the item drops, I'd guess it was a pretty low level, maybe leftover from the 40-man days.

Thanks. It would be great to get some complete information about this. Both more detail on catches, and an estimate of the no-junk skill (although that is likely to be very difficult, if the skill is low, because most of the level 80s reading this have rather high fishing skill).
I'm fairly sure all this new fishable "water" in dungeons is new in patch 3.1. Makes me wonder where else might have "fish" now.

My Fishing Vacation in Naxxramas
(I had some time before dinner/raid, so I thought I'd go play around more)
Pool at the start of the quarter were fishable
Pool in the hall outside Anub's room were fishable
Slime surrounding Anub's room were fishable
Pool in hallway leading to Faerlina were fishable
Faerlina's room - all pools are out of LOS
Pools and slime leading up to Maexxna were fishable
Here I found that some mobs had respawned somehow...free ticket out! (on a stretcher). Hightly doubtful that there will be fish caught in Maexxna's webs anyway.
Grates in the suppression room - no go, LOS
Stalk room after Heigan - stalk pools aren't pools, so no
The outer ring just before Loatheb has slime along the wall that's fishable (not recommended to drop down though, usually mobs up after a clear)
Grates IN Loatheb's room can be fished from. Oddly, you can fish through the floor in the whole room, but you can't see the bobber
At this point, I made the mistake of porting out, which took me to Sapph's room, no way out >.<
The Frostwyrm Wing
Couldn't find a way to cast through the grates around Sapph's room, LOS
There's 2 pools in the hallway leading to Kel, but doesn't appear to be fishable (didn't land in fishable water)
Nothing of note in Kel's room.
Hearth and a quick flight back...
The Military Quarter
Nothing until after Gothik, then we're back in the outer Ring where the acid along the outside of the hallways is fishable. Watch for the leftover pats though. Free ride out again! (stupid invisible shades...)
It didn't look like there were pools of any sort in the 4 horseman's room, but I'll have to check if we go back there again.
The Construct Quarter
Lots of possibilities here...the first 2 room's Grate caused LOS though.
The 3rd room (the one with the 1000 little slimes in it) is fishable, even through the grate and the floor.
Most of Patchwerk's room is fishable, even the stone parts of the floor. Even the hallway past him is fishable.
Grobbulus' room isn't, LOS everywhere I tried.
Gluth's room, same thing, LOS where the grates are.
Thaddius, on the other hand, has a whole lake of fishable...goo. Cost me another free ride out on one poor attempt to sacrifice my pet to get past, but the second attempt went flawlessly, so I ended my adventure after fishing there for a bit.
Now, my sample size wasn't too big, due to time constraints, but I did get many dozen casts in. Acidic Slime seems to be most common (~47%), Slimy Bone weighed in at ~29%, and both the dissolved skull and the Coagulated slime coming in around 12%. Wowhead's fishing table for Naxx seemed fairly close to that (with about 300 catches listed there). It doesn't seem like there's any other loot that drops there, unless the odds are fairly long.
Marlburo, May 2009:
Stats from The Arachnid Quarter:
Slimy Bone: 73 (43.5%)
Acidic Slime: 67 (39.9%)
Coagulated Slime: 21 (12.5%)
Dissolved Skull: 7 (4.2%)
Diakonran, May 2009:
Found a "glitchy" fishing spot in Naxx tonight.
MT and puller both DCed right before Grand Widow, and as we were waiting for them to reconnect, I was looking around the Widow's room, and noticed the green slime pools. So I decided to try and see if I could fish them (320 fishing on that toon, 450 on alt)
After a little bit of trying to jump up onto the rim of those pools to no avail, I tried jumping from ontop of the crates just to the side of the pool. While attempting to jump, I hit my Fishing hotkey... and low and behold, I hit fishable water. Only problem was.... the "water" was the concrete floor outside of the visable pool!!! The fishable area is tricky to map out, as from my vantage point, I kept getting "Shallow" or "Unfishable" warnings.
Took a screeny. Putting up onto photobucket. Will provide link if asked.
The Lich King, May 2009:
All you can catch in Naxx is junk loot. After some scum killed Kel'Thuzad and every other of my commanders in Naxxramas, I spend 2 hurs fishing to calm down. It only made me mad that my minions throw things in the river i could raise as minions.
