About Speckled Tastyfish

• Binds when caught. 4 hour duration.
• Use: Quest: The first, second and third anglers to deliver 40 Speckled Tastyfish to Riggle Bassbait (in Booty Bay during the contest) can each claim can a prize. After the winners have been announced, batches of five Speckled Tastyfish can be delivered to Jang in Booty Bay (quest Apprentice Angler) for money.

Catching Speckled Tastyfish

• Time: Sundays 14:00-16:00 only.
• Notes: 80% of the catch from any pool (inland or coastal) in Northern Stranglethorn or The Cape of Stranglethorn during the Stranglethorn Extravaganza Contest.
• Commentary: There are many different strategies (see Stranglethorn Extravaganza Strategy) for catching 40 Speckled Tastyfish faster than anyone else, but they can be broadly summarised as:
  • Fishing where others are not.
  • Moving between pools as fast as possible.
  That's what the dwarves would call "common sense".
