I chose to go to the glaciers off of South Borean. Others were raiding but I decided to take it easy and do my usual routine fishing. It came out of a pool at the southern-most edge of the glaciers next to a small one. I used my fishing hat and one of the +100 glow worms. I couldn't tell you if it helped.</p> <p>I immediately mounted it and swam for shore with it and landed on the beach in east borean and took some screenies. He is definitely one of my favorites. I sit in Dal and pop him in and out of his shell. I take him off "run" and casually stroll with him.</p> <p>Btw, I had fished up over 18K items by the time I got her. My friend has her on 2 of her toons now, but she is just lucky that way. I fished the Valley of Spirits pool for awhile, but was eventually ganked. It wasn't a bad spot, really...I've caught about 300 fish there in previous attempts but I wanted to give the other place a try. I went to the Valley of Honor waterfall during "off-hours" without any problem. I'm a lvl 80 ret pally, and I entered through the western gate. Just saddle up and go for it. I stayed there for a few hours over a couple of days, logging in and out when I had the time to play. I always used Elixer of Camouflage, and so the Hunters couldn't track me. I also used Blackened Worg Steak which allows you to track humanoids; I liked watching the traffic go by me on the minimap. No one touched me there, although I do think a lvl 80 orc saw me. (Thank you from a fellow fisherman.) He was fishing too and may have heard my bobber. I couldn't hear his (and I tried to) but being under the waterfall may have been the reason why. I too was just trying level my fishing and cooking up on Highland Mixed Schools. My fishing was 356, no lures, using Seth's Graphite Fishing Pole (+20 Fishing), no other gear. I was getting a lot of junk but got him on my 87th cast. I was fishing both the open water and the pools, just trying to level and hoping to get lucky. I had fished all 3 lakes about 2 schools each, then came back to Ere'Noru and got it in a respawn pool there. I also got lucky and got the pet with my first wish. Not sure what the others will be yet, but I will update this thread when I find out. (resat counters when it was added) and so far nothing. The turtle and STV is what seems to be eluding me.<br /> But I am persistant (read: stubborn), so I will continue to fish for it. In order to gather motivation, I am not going for the mount specifically, but instead set myself a goal of certain amounts of fish to catch. Fish I either intend to sell, or cook and sell.<br /> One day it could be 50-60 Angelfish, another it could be 70-80 Glacial Salmons. </p> <p>I feel that helps abit. </p>
