I just thought I'd mention that I did 50 casts in Undercity today without getting the item (I did have the quest). It's not definitive of course, but I've never had to go more than 30 casts to get it in Orgrimmar. One has maxed skill, a Magical Crawdad, and has had amazingly good luck with the fishing quest rewards, apart from the length of time it took to get the hat.</p> <p>However, my second mage had, until recently, a fishing skill of 10. I have done the baby crocolisk quest twice on her (or maybe three times- but definitely not more that that), and in so doing, raised her fishing skill to an amazingly high 27. Now, when I turned in the quest yesterday, I laughed to myself at the improbability of getting a crocolisk pet; however, when I opened my bag a minute or so after completing the quest, I found, not one, but two blue items in my fishing bag: Chuck's Bucket, and an Eye of the Sea.</p> <p>My question is this: Has anyone else had more than one of the special items (i.e., pet, ring, hat, fishing line, et c.) drop in the same bag? Ive managed to get the Eye of the sea the quest before and the blessed Mr.Pinchy granted me his crawdad before 2.4 went live :D!<br /> (I belive im first on lightninghoof w/ ring, plz correct me if im wrong)</p> <p>One happy gnome, not to mention Mr. pinchy joined me again this evening ;)</p> <p>So next on my agenda is to conquor Ol' Ironjaw while i hunt for a crocolisk to call my own.</p> <p>-Lorelei, Warlock of The Eternal Knights </p>
