Or does the chance for gold coins increase once you have collected all the silver and copper ones? Last night I got the achievement in 15 min, I was missing 2 coins. Two other people got the achievement during that time. I was catching 3 or 4 gold coins every 2 minutes, this never happened before. I had to reload WoW last week and lost my fishing buddy stats in the process. But I finally caught the sewer rat about 5 minutes ago doing the fishing daily. I had quit trying to farm him and decided I would just do the dailies and if I got him ...cool. After doing the jewel of the sewer daily about a dozen times in the last month I got him. I casted over 700 times. I even fished up a ROCK. My base skill is maxed at 450, i am using the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole (+30) and using the 1 hour (+100) Glow worm for a total of 580 fishing skill. I fished up in the "The Black Market" area right in front of Darhir facing the entrance to the area. If you are facing the entrance you'll be on the left side of the entrance. Don't worry, it wasn't a glitch. We've always known that you could catch a rat there in theory, it's just unlikely. Congrats, I've been wanting to see that happen in awhile!</p> <p>On another note, I wouldn't recommend showing the screen shot on the WoW forums. I don't believe there is anything you can do besides start fishing again. So with my skill maxed out and hat and rod equipped and using the lures from the hat my fishing skill has been at 560 for all these catches too....</p> <p>I just read Pwnica's comment from 3 months ago and don't feel "quite" so bad now... said it the comment that it took him 7154 casts to get it. </p>
