Thought i just made this topic because the other topic isnt really about cathing it :p
so post all stuff you fished here while looking for turtle and where you fished it :)

Almost fished non-stop since patch released, 2500 catches done and still no bloody mount, this will be a tough one... Fished in the Frozen Sea just south of Boreans...

Btw all my catches are fish caught (that includes pygmy suckerfish/crystallized water/reinforced crate) no junk catches (well a couple, because of missed pools)...

Edit: 3000, still no mount

I hope this hasn't been covered elsewhere but I'm seeing very strong indications that this new fish's catch rate is time related, as at least some of the others are. (Are all of them time related?) Maybe that's no surprise; if not, here's a start to tracking the "time zones". My sampling is limited, but consists of over 1000 casts at different times of day. After midnight but I believe before 3:00 AM, nothing. I cast 350 times, and no fish. My next opportunity was between 12:00 noon and 6:00 PM the next day, and I started hitting them fairly well. An evening break, and back to it off and on between 9:00 PM and midnight; My catch rate was noticably lower. I just did some fishing there after midnight again, and again nothing. So, there it is for what it's worth. I wish I'd paid more attention to the times, but I wasn't expecting this issue; I just desperately wanted to catch a new fish. I need only one to complete The Limnologist...the Bloated Redgill is killing me, and I seriously needed some fishing success. <sigh> Sometimes I wish I knew its drop rate; other times I'm glad I don't. Anyway, I recall that someone guessed a catch rate of about 1/100, and that's what I'm seeing as well if I factor out the post Midnight non-catches. For the curious, I've caught 6. I kept the first one for my "trophy room" bag in the bank; it has the first of every bloated fish, Ironjaw, Crafty, The Ones That Didn't Get Away, etc. For the five that I've opened, my drops are pretty much identical with those reported by Gizel at El's Professions. Typically some Brilliant Smallfish, a Reinforced Fishing Line, and a few lures such as Bright Baubles, etc. No Wedding Ring as of yet.

Prior to the "hotfix" today, I was open water fishing for around 20 minutes and I pulled the regular amount of volatile waters that I normally do. After closing the game and reloading it, I've been open water fishing for around an hour and I haven't snagged one volatile water. Is anyone else having this issue or did they remove volatile water from the loot table of open water fishing?
