I spent all day and night (probably 14 hrs total) Sunday fishing in HF for the Dark Herring. After a few hundred fish, I switched to the NELF starting zone. Caught ten of the 10 pounders, but no 15 pounder! Gave up about 2am.<br /> Started back in HF this morning and got tired of circling the damn lake so decided to take a quick run down the river. Second school down the river, I got it!<br /> Man, I'm glad thats over! In this case, I expected to catch thousands of fish with no luck, and happily was wrong. 156 catches in (all fished from pools around the lake) I got a dark herring.
