I have been hunting the Sea turtle mount for few days now (Started from somewhere Fishing lvl 100 and got 525 now). And iv been wondering where should i hunt for it. I have tried Sholazar Basin, Howling Fjord, Uldum, Twilight Highlands and Frozen Sea in Borean tundra. Sholazar basin seemed to be pretty low on the pools so i gave up there. Howling Fjord seems kinda nice, pretty many pools and so on but already caught Dark herring here and im kinda bored here too. Uldum, well many pools but several mobs and players fishing here too so im not sure about this one. Twilight highlands, few pools on the coast but when i go land i will need to find the pools for 5 min so bad bad bad place i think. Frozen sea, ALOT ALOT of pools in little area at the icebergs but im not 100% sure can the sea turtle drop from here since this isn't any zone and when i press world map i can see Crystalsong forest... <--- Tell me if you can get the mount from here and i probably go there hunt for it. 2500 ~ 3000 casts, no mount , 1 Dark herring, 2 Tomes of Polymorph. Caught in Frozen Sea SE of Kalu'ak village of Unu'pe. My toon is only lvl 42 so I died quite a bit before I found this safe place to fish in Northrend with many pools spawning in a close area around two icebergs complete with penguin colonies. Elixir of water walking was essential for me. I caught her in a Moonglow Cuttlefish pool with a bone fishing pole I won in an Org daily. Was already 525 fishing lvl. Took me about 2 weeks in real life over maybe a dozen sessions. Didn't have an add-on to keep track but I guess maybe 2000 or more casts? Super excited. The advice I got from El's played a huge part. Thanks.
