I rode into Org (as alliance). Died once from guards, rezzed and fished at Valley of Spirits. I kept throwing away the Croc every cast and on my 7th cast I got the croc AND Old Crafty! The baby crocolisk and Old Crafty can both be fished up in the same city. Your chances for getting Ol'crafty go from 1/2000 to about 1/10.</p> <p>This works for alliance as well, but does not work cross faction because the "quest" is different for alliance and horde. Having the <a href="/fish/?s=Baby Crocolisk" title="Fish Finder - Baby Crocolisk.">Baby Crocolisk</a> daily quest seems to increase the catch rate of <a href="/fish/?s=Old Crafty" title="Fish Finder - Old Crafty.">Old Crafty</a> to about 1/10. This lasts until the Baby Crocolisk is in your inventory. I know the change to the fishing daily being on the first cast, but I find it pretty interesting that 3 people got Crafty on their first cast while having that quest.<br /> 2 of them haven't even been trying for Crafty, the other had been fishing for days for Crafty and just happened to get it after he had the quest.<br /> I'm in a relatively small guild, and not many people do the dailies, so the %s are actually kind of high when you think about it.</p> <p>It seems that Crafty, and maybe Ironjaw have an increased drop chance when you have that quest. Maybe it's just first cast, maybe not....or maybe it was just really really really random lucky chance.</p> <p>Has anyone else noticed this? </p>
