Although grinding for a turtle mount can become tedious too.</p> <p>I think this is a MUST skill for all your mains and alts. It can make you a lot more self sufficient in the game.</p> <p>I can only see this tradeskill getting better and even more fun. Hate the profession, love their passionate adepts !</p> <p>I'll never stop fishing in WoW, so long as it remains as diversified. I am thrilled to see what Cataclysm will bring to our fishing loot tables. The old fish, still available ? Any new ''rare'' fish ? Any ''special'' fish to be caught, much like Titanium in Saronite ?</p> <p>Wouldn't you love, once in a while, to catch that Uncommon-quality Nettlefish that can be cooked with five Northern Spices, and gives you 100 critical strike rating !? That would be absolutely incredible, and a gigantic buff to fishing and cooking altogether!</p> <p>And yet better ! An uncommon-quality Fish Feast! I have done a lot of PvP on previous accounts, and received titles from doing so in the process, but I am now completely dedicated to fishing ever since I discovered the landscapes you can come across while roaming the seas.</p> <p>The vast Bay of Storms; the long, sinuous river of Hillsbrad Foothills, that leads into the Western Plaguelands; the green, lush ground of the Barrens' oases; the dry, deserted shores of Desolace; the rocky soil of Stonetalon Peaks and Durotar; the icy, virgin waters of Winterspring!</p> <p>And the Outlands... the polluted ecosystem of Zangarmarsh; the living waters of Nagrand; the spooky rivers of Terokkar, and its pools of water high on mountains; really, have you seen any more diversified of a world ?</p> <p>Northrend, the newly discovered continent, cold and dry from an end to the other, deeply corrupted by the grasp of ancient evils, yet host to lively waters, and a people the likes of which have never been seen : the Kalu'ak. From the Raw Brilliant Smallfish to the Deep Sea Monsterbelly, everything's in the bank, in multiple stacks. Cooked meals, raw fish, name it : it's there. I sell it, I gift it, I trade it, and often just look at it, wondering how much time will come to pass before I get my hands on that mythic 103 Pound Mightfish!</p> <p>So, tell me, anglers of Azeroth, do you fish for your own leisure ? Do you sell the fish ? Are you aiming at any particular fish to catch ? Any amount of a particular item to get ? What is YOUR incentive to fish, beyond the coveted ''Salty'' title ?</p> <p>I, for one, seek to understand the underwater ecosystem of Azeroth, for it has surprised me many, many times. Murlocs, Hydras, Kraken...what else lurks below the surface..? I pray that, one day, I will learn... </p>
