I very MUCH wish that there was a pet food buff that was made from fish.

This seems like a simple enough request to fill if Blizz had half a mind to: Let pets eat "people food." Want your pet to have +80AP +40 Stamina? Feed it either Mega Mammoth Meal or Poached Northern Sculpin.
Or, if you don't want to invest the Northern Spices... prepare the version that doesn't use them (whatever those might be - I don't recall)

Thats not fair on warlocks then, who can't physically feed their pets people food like hunters can

Hi,
this only concerns Hunters and maybe Warlocks/DKs (do you buff feed your pet?). There is a meat/fish equivalent for every of the many buff foods out there except one: Pet buff food: Spiced Mammoth Treats. Has Blizzard planned to change this or are there fellow hunters who mind?

My main is a hunter and yes, I DO mind. The rules have changed recently so that it's not nearly so important to a keep a stock of pet food around (just fighting will keep them happy), but I've always used fish eating pets just because it simply seems So Wrong for a hunter to be buying pet food. Between the effort of obtaining meat (and then getting the necessary spices to cook it), it just made fish the logical choice of what's for dinner.

I very MUCH wish that there was a pet food buff that was made from fish.

I don't mind at all. To get the best food for my pet I will just go to Hellfire Peninsula and kill some of those Vultures beneath Temple of Telhamat. They drop a lot of meat which you can cook into Kibler's Bits. It's exactly the same buff as the Spiced Mammoth Treats, except way cheaper and no Northern Spices needed.

I've been grinding these birds with my paladin for XP and got about 400+ of those things until now.
Trying to sell them, however, is hard on my server.

If there would be a fishing equivalent I'm pretty sure the bird meat is still easier to farm, you just need a cook who has done enough cooking dailys :)
