Working my way down the map I checked both Lake Jorune and Lake Ere'Noru, with 'Find Fish' turned on (making this extremely easy). Neither lake had a single node to be found so I headed down to Blackwind Lake. There were SEVERAL nodes so I just worked around the lake in a circle, and before I left made one more lap to make sure I didn't miss any. </p> <p>I went back up to Lake Ere'Noru, and found that nodes has spawned there, so I started in the same fashion. On the third node there, on the second cast... Mr. Pinchy. On the first wish... Magical Crawdad.</p> <p>So:<br /> 13 nodes in 2 lakes yielded<br /> 2 Enormous Barbed Gill Trout<br /> 29 Furious Crawdads<br /> 5 Motes of Water<br /> 11 Golden Darters<br /> 1 Huge Spotted Feltail<br /> 1 Inscribed Scrollcase (containing 1 Scroll of Intellect VI)<br /> 2 Curious Crates (1 containing 4 Feliron Ore, and 1 containing 4 Netherweave Cloth)</p> <p>Level 80 with max fishing skill, Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat, and Jeweled Fishing Pole.</p> <p>Who knows, maybe they figured "Early bird gets the worm"? I'm pretty damn lucky, i think i fished up like 25 pools. When he was first added, the drop rate was close to 1 in 500. A little while later (IIRC, just before achviements came out), that drop rate was almost halved to 1 in 250.
