I continued until I leveled fishing to 225 in the SW canal (buying the white kitten from Lil Timmy as he spawned).</p> <p>Then went to IF to get the pre-quel to Nat Pagles quest, then went to see Nat Pagle to get the quest. Since getting the 1 ring the big iron fishing pole was equipped for the whole time, and did not swap it out until after I finished Nat Pagles quest.</p> <p>The main fishing point here is I had not fished from the patch since when achievements were introduced. I started with the Savage Coast Blue Sailfin (hearthstone at Booty Bay) . When I cast I got the Savage Coast Blue Sailfin first time.</p> <p>The interesting point as far as achievements went, is that it triggered the achievement that the character had successfully cast into a fish pool when getting the Savage Coast Blue Sailfin. This was even though the cast had been made into open water.</p> <p>I then proceeded to go to the relevant locations to catch the other fish. Each required only one cast to get the fish though for the last one - which was the Feralas Ahi I - did use a lure. </p> <p>I then decided to go to IF for Ol' Ironjaw to see whether this extraordinary run would continue.
