(my friend got it on 2 chars, 1 did it in 45 min and the other took from 1 to 35 fishing skill when he cought it..) gl to every 1 trying to fish this little basterd. Next evening I logged back in, expected more fruitless hours of casting. I was level 40 and it took a lot of determination, but got to the pool after ressing lots. Once there the best thing to do regardless of level is /sleep. Passing alliance give you a bit more of a chance seeing you laying down. Also if you are a hunter use beast mastery. Got him in 1200 casts with little armour on. If you don't get him straight away try 3 hour slots.. that way you don't go crazy from trying too much! While fishing I was chatting with some fellow angler, and at 0130 server time I caught OIJ! Kept on fishing, since the goal was 150, and 23 minutes later....got him again. Took some time to post to another thread (I am the bonehead) about getting him twice. Back to fishing, and at 0208 server time, caught him for the third time! Unfricking believable. Guess he respawns fast on Sunday morning! I started fishing in orgrimmar with the intention of fishing all the way to 450 there when I caught Old Crafty in prolly less than a 100 casts and got an achievement for it! So i started checking out the achievements and decided that I'd go for them all, so at 150 fishing skill I went to IF with the intention of getting Old Ironjaw. I equipped my santa gear from xmas so that allies would maybe laugh at me rather than kill me, and it kinda worked. I fished in IF from skill 150-224 (I didn't have a fishing count mod at this time) and just as I was about to get that last skill point and leave to dustwallow marsh, I found Old Ironjaw! woot!
