I also used 6-12 lures in my pack to keep track of time. When they ran out I did something else for a while. </p> <p>Bottom line is you can't get too discouraged with the rat or any of the purely random achievements. El said "it isn't healthy" and I agree. It took me over 3k casts to get the one that didn't get away and well over 4k casts to get the rat. Just fish for half an hour per day, it'll take maybe long to get what you want, but it won't get you frustrated if you don't.
