I have fished about 3000 times since the new patch so far. it took me 22 hrs of fishing to get the rat. I don't like PvP, not very good at PvE, but I love fishing, that's pretty much all I do in WoW. </p> <p>My total fishing skill is 612 (i don't count that random sewer potion, turn you into a walrus buff). I have won the STV tourny twice (took me 2 years to win it, another reason for my self-proclaimed title) and have an alt with 580 fishing skill. I have completed all the achievement requirements for Salty except The One That Didn't Get Away. I love to WoW fish.</p> <p>Since 3.0 I have caught 4,853 items caught from fishing. I have no number before 3.0 but rest assured it was alot more than that. </p> <p>I cannot complete this achevement. I have read all the posts, fished all the places, tried all the recommendations, and still I cannot complete this achievement. It has become, ironically, my White Whale.</p> <p>I didn't post this as a pity train but rather to encourage all my fellow anglers still trying for their Salty title. No matter how long it takes you, you are not, The Most Unlucky Fisherman on all Servers in WoW. </p> <p>Keep casting,<br /> Ralak </p>
