This is some information from the opposite side of the spectrum.</p> <p>I do the fishing daily on 2 characters every day, one of which I've been doing the dailies on since TBC, the other just since November of last year. I've gotten a monocle x1, Eye of the Sea x3, Muckbreath x2 (lol at getting the same pet on the same character twice), fishing line x3, and no hat.</p> <p>Both characters have been 450 for a while. One has arcanite rod, other has kalu'ak rod. Maybe after 10-15 quests or so. I don't think your skill level and gear has anything to do with the drop rate . </p> <p>My druid had probably done 20-25 dailies before it dropped, my mage 10-15. Aside from the hats, I've gotten two Eye of the Sea, one Spun Truesilver Fishing Line and one Chuck's Bucket.
