Server restarted prior to comp. I get 34 before someone wins amongst heavy lag.
So get 40, get hat fish (which i dont need =p)

Give fish in thinking meh odd, then sever crashs. Quest to win offered to me...but gave fish in...

Possibly the closest I have ever been.....there laughing in my face these gms...

We enjoyed a 2.5 hour downtime, which meant the contest could not start until about 15:45. Even with few competitors it is difficult to catch 40 Tastyfish in 15 minutes. At 16:00 the pools disappeared, and nobody had been announced the winner.
However, the quest remains available until 17:00. So one lucky angler who managed to get 40 fish, but didn't manage to reach Booty Bay in time, still won the contest. I've never seen it won after 16:00 before.
