[Fishing] Achievments after 4.03a

    Hello,
I went to SW yesterday to do the Fishing Diplomat achievment. Even that I'm a rogue the guards killed me 2-3 times, because they are 85lvl and can see me pretty easy in stealth. My questions:
    1) How to catch Old Ironjaw in Ironforge now? SW is easy, because the fishable water is just behind the gates, but the water in IF is far deep inside.
    2) Anyone checked STV for the Tastyfish pools? I'm still not and I wanna try the Extravaganza contest this weekend.
PS. "Old Man Barlowned" is pain now without portals :( atleast thanks to my Dimensional Ripper - Area 52 and that now I need only one of these quests(I caught the magical crawdad and 2 crocolisks).
    Regards!

Yyestarday, looking for a way to do the "Elders of the Aliance" achievement, I found a "solution" on how to enter Ironforge.
You need to be at least lvl 60, and be able to fligth in Azeroth, that way you can just fligth between the guard on the entrace of Ironforge. And if you keep at the ceeling, the flying guards won't notice you.
Then one you get to the Mystic Ward, get as high as you can, and look at the guards. I noticed that there are 2 groups of flying guards that patrol there, one that enter from the Commons area, go around the Mystic Ward, an into the Commons again. The other comes from the Great forge, and do the same as the other.
Just time them and go for the cave leading to Forlong Cavern, and hope that nobody is there waiting.
I got into the Mystic Ward in less than a minute with my 280% flying mount, and got hit only 3 time by the entrace guards before they lose interent...

With the release of Cataclysm, fishing in Orgrimmar has changed a lot for Alliance. There are now more high level guards than before and the area near the western entrance is now too shallow to fish in the less crowded areas.

It's been mentioned that fishing from behind the waterfall in the Valley of Honor is possibly the best spot but with the advent of flying, there is a small section of river above the waterfall that is completely unguarded and free from Horde patrols and Horde toons have no reason to go there.

I utilised it for gaining "The Fishing Diplomat" achievment and will now use it for "Old Crafty".

There is another option for Ogrimmar.

The side gate that leads to the Valley of Spirits has even less traffic than the Valley of Honor.

Right inside the gate to the right is a ledge that overlooks a small stream. While you are exposed to anyone coming at you, you are in a corner made by two huge walls.

There are only a few patrols that go by, typically one Elite and a couple of the representatives of the weekend battleground, and only a single flying patrol of one individual that doesn't fly low enough to aggro you.

About the only issue is that the blimp flight path goes right over your head. A hunter or someone using a Spy type add on will be alerted to you if they are paying attention.

The Valley of Honor had way too many people passing through for my taste, and the base of the waterfall that falls from Azshara was just too close to the hunter trainers for comfort (I barely escaped with my life more than once).

This last fishing achievement has been vexing me for a couple of years now and I have made it a goal to fish at least an hour each night after work until Ol' Crafty is caught.
