A video was posted with new bear animations, including ones for eating, drinking and fishing. The video's poster indicates that the animations appear to be for NPC bears, for ambiance. The ability for druids in bear form has not been implemented yet, but I, for one, would love to be able to fish as a bear. Here's hoping!

The animation is used by bears in the Grizzly Hills. They get more out of the water than I can with a pole. There's no basis for assuming this will lead to bear-form fishing - there are many animations given to creatures that are not given to players. Of course that doesn't stop this rumour from continuing to circulate...

From Beta patch notes:
"- Druids and Shaman can now use items while shapeshifted."

Druids in Moonkin form can fish already. That extra armor is welcome when you get attacked while fishing in Skettis. Another reason why Moonkins rock!
