I finally (Im level 58 now) decided to look for the Big Iron Fishing Pole today. I bought one Potion of Greater Water Breathing and headd for the shellfish traps. Prior to this I had recently went on a 3 day fishing trip for Old Crafty with no luck so I wasnt gettingmy hopes up. I couldnt believe my luck when within 5 minutes I found one! I didnt know what to do. I started wondering if I should just get out of there and get some other things done or keep at it.. I also started to wonder can you even get 2? Will it let me with 1 already in my inventory? While these thoughts ran through my head I was without realizing it still looking through the cages and found another one! I looked at the time elapsed on my 1 hour potion and it had only been 8 minutes!
I decided to just stay the entire duration of the potion and with 33 minutes left I had 3 and only a minute later I found my fourth! I left with 10 minutes still on my potion to go finish a sunken temple run and here is my final count:
    2 Cuirboull Boots
    3 Reinforced Chain Boots
    3 Cross Stitches Sandals
1 Ghost Walker Cloak of Spirit
    1 Burnished Boots
    30 Shellfish
    4 Big Iron Fishing Poles
I am now using 1 for myself, gave 1 to a friend, the other 2 I will prob give to an alt. I thought about selling 1 since on Dawnbringer they are usually in the AH for betweeen 25-50 Gold. But after thinking about it I dont really need the money so Im holding on to thm for now.
Im hoping that my luck will hold out for a rare fish tonight.

While digging with archeology I decided to equip the Kalu'ak pole and check the traps:

    4 Cuirboull Boots
    2 Reinforced Chain Boots
    6 Cross Stitches Sandals
    5 Engineering parts
    10 Shellfish

and 1 Big Iron Fishing Pole

Took about 15 or 20 so minutes.

Did this in the off-hours of the server. Yippy!
