After catching over 30 Strange Engine Parts, I think little Noor deserves a reward, and a Magical Crawdad is just perfect. Congratulations!
People may hate me but I got Mr. Pinchy on my third cast; and the companion on the first wish.
im having a lucky day, got sea turtle a few hrs ago, 6 casts and got Mr. Pinchy and the first wish was the pet :) GL E1
I tried quite a bit a while ago, gave up for a bit, then this weekend was showing my bf where to find the pools for his first fishing alt... fished in one "just in case" and got it first cast! And the first wish gave the pet so I'm pretty happy at the moment :-)
Was the confirmation dialogue box removed from Mr. Pinchy in 3.1 like it was for other rare fish? Is it safe now to use auto-loot while fishing for him? Thanks!
I know you guys probably get this often, and its pretty much douchbag of me to say.. I found this site just 2 or 3 days back.. And since that i have leveled my fishing skill from 250 to 400. anyways, i thought that doing some achievments was a good thing to do, as i am boored to death haha. Well, teleported to shatt, and went up to Terrok's Rest, first catch in my third pool.. There was mr.Pinchy!! So I crossed my fingers, told my buddy to cross his fingers, and I used my first wish! "Mr. Pinchy's Magical Crawdad Box" Hell yeah!! :D
Hmpf! I was fishing for it in Blackwind Lake when a level 68 Horde comes tagging along following me and fishing in the same schools. Ok, no worries. I was here at 68 and it is kinda hard to stay fishing, and alive for that matter, when elites and bad guys are after you all the time. We fish in same schools for a while. An elite comes up and I take care of him. When I come back the Horde is jumping waving cheering and so on and points to his new pet. A Magical Crawdad. *sigh*
I caught Mr. Pinchy for the second time last weekend. I got the pet on the first wish. I had tried to catch Mr. Pinchy about 2 years ago, finally caught him after catching about 800 fish, and did not get the pet. I finally decided to try the achievement again, caught him after about 350 casts, and got the pet on the first wish. Good luck if you are trying to get this achievement, but don't get too excited if you catch him, just to be disappointed when you don't get the pet after the 3 wishes.
