Recently I have been leveling my fishing skill. OMG it seems this is going to take ages before I hit max skill. From time to time I receive crates from fishing wreckages. Many of them containing green quality items. I even got lucky getting a rare recipe for blacksmithing (the one for mithril spike shield). Has anyone else come acros "blue" or even "epic"quality items?

As far as I am aware, the only blue quality items from trunks are profession recipes. Added: Wowhead lists the Broken Blade of Heroes as coming out of an Iron Bound Trunk (just twice out of about 10,000 loots).
Blue quality gems used to turn up rarely in Bloated Giant Sunfish, but I suspect those drops were taken out in patch 2.4.2. I think the only epic quality item gained from fishing is The 2 Ring, and that's not technically caught - it's a rare reward from the fishing daily quest.
