[Fishing] Dropped the 2 ring !

    dropped the 2 ring out of the fishing quest- shrimps, i didnt personally drop it- the wife did, as i encouraged her to take up fishing, yes she kinda enjoys it, but now nore than ever- as there is a chance to drop another ring- they not unique- so you could have 2( if you choose to do so)
    Most of the fourm stuff we have read about the rings say that they are best for a hybrid class- and feral druids are coming out on top with heart of the wild, adding more stats to it.

    Still enought of the geek talk- ring dropped !

    Fishing is treating me well as of late. Friday morning I got my very 1st Mr. Pincy and the first wish gave me the pet. Now, not more than 30 minutes ago I pulled a 2 Ring from my fishing daily bag after only 10 or less daily attempts. Time to buy some Powerball tickets!

    For the little story I got the 2 Ring on the first fishing daily I done, just after the add of fishing dailies in the game. Sold it for 2K gold immediatly.

    Woke up and thought i would do the daily fishing and cooking (as always) since i still have never gotten the weather beaten hat or the 2 ring. The 2 ring not being something i ever imagined i'd get. but helped me rationalize why i am cursed on the weather beaten hat. The 2 ring appeared in my bag today along with some gold and a shadow pearl. 6:21am server time Sargeras.

    Now i cant even say "At least the 2 ring hasn't dropped!"

    Needless to say very surprised and happy ;) But still want that dam hat !

    Woke up early this morning to do my cooking and fishing dailies. I was surprised to find a 2 ring in my bag. I yelled that I found it to all of Shat but no one else was awake :C

    Might anyone know which Fishing Daily in Shatt drops this ring. i have had everything drop, i cant count the hats, lines, gems, and i have all the crocs.... but no 2 ring.
    I know with the crocs, and hats are usually croc daily quest. I cant remember the quest the gems dropped...
    Is there a certain quest i should look for; Or has it just dropped random for each quest.

    Any of the outland fishing daily quests can drop the 2 ring, but it's such a low chance, I wouldn't do the daily every day just at a chance for the ring (especially if you already have everything else those dailys have to offer). Odds are in favor of you not getting it.

    Based off of thottbot data, odds are about 1 in 1000. Based off of wowhead data, odds are about 1 in 1900. Since there's such a small data sample, it's probably somewhere in between 1/1000 and 1/2000.

    Granted, there's always a chance that you'll get it. That chance is very minute, but the chance still exists.

    The 2 ring dropped for me yesterday on my alt, I got a small thrill over it. If we were still in BC, I would have gotten some decent gold for it, kind of a shame.

    I'm thinking about holding on to it for sentimental reasons, because it is a fishing memento, but does anyone think I should try to sell it?
