[General] El's Extreme Anglin' like Archaeology website?

Pretty simple question, is there a website like El's Extreme Anglin' for Archaeologists?

If not , El could you add a section to this site? I am sure like myself most Anglers in WoW also do Archaeology (Archy) and we all LOVE this site and I am sure (again) that other would love an addition for Achy.

Thanks allot for all info, additions, and support.

    Try http://wowdigsite.com/.

I experimented with an Inscription site for WotLK, but there wasn't enough depth to the profession to warrant it. Most of the interest in Inscription was in leveling. Leveling guides are rather boring to write, and probably much better automated in-game.

Although inscription does get a bit of a boost in MOP, as they are able to create Bind on Account stuff like fans. (Off-hand item)

With Arch i find mods like Archy that has an in game lists more useful as, currently, with Arch all you really need to keep track of is if you have all the artifcats yet.

This might change in MOP given the addition of the Lorewalkers.

Thanks for the links and info.

I still think that many people would love an El's Extreme Archaeology site :D

El I have put some more thought into this and I would like to try and build a Archaeology site; I would like permission to start out this site based on http://www.elsanglin.com and use the name "Ault's (Extreme?) Archaeology". The site will hopefully look and feel simular to your site (at least to start) as I love the feel, simplisity, useability and humor of El's.

If this is OK (or not) please let me know. I will of couse link to and give credit to you (El) and your website.

I will also allow you to vet and OK anything you wish to.

Any surgestions, ideas or anything else please feel free to contact me.

Just call it Ault's Archaeology! Master dwarf was born to dig. And get drunk, obviously.

Whatever you do, you should make it your own. "Based on" meaning inspired by, is great. "Based on" meaning copying all the code and styling, less so. I've learnt a lot from writing this, and I'm sure there are things you can evolve and take in a slightly different direction.

So my caveat is that I don't want anything you do to be easily confused with El's Anglin', because whatever you do should be separate, and not something I will be responsible for.

El thank you for your response, it was pretty much what I was expecting. I very much appreciate, and will take on what you have said.
This will be my first website that I will be building that wasn't with a website building tool, or at least that is my plan.

The main things I would like to keep similar to your site are the use of my character (like you do with El) and to try to keep most of the site in character. Some things I will of course be forced too keep that are very similar to http://www.elsanglin.com are the use of wowhead hover links and external links to other sites for some info and reference, but that is pretty much a given.
I would also love to use the same forum system (bbPress) as I think it really fits with the feel of roll play styled sites I also love the fact that you can track in game achievements and accomplishments.

If you have any problems, concerns, tips or anything else please let me know as always.

    ~Ault.
