[Fishing] Every little helps right? :)

    I'm currently trying anything and everything to win the Extravagan(k)za,and I was wondering if it would be worth getting my fishing boots enchanted with haste,the intention being to speed up casting.
    As a chef I can make haste food too,which seemed to make a difference today,so I'll definitely try that again.
    If nothing else (and the percieved decrease in casting time was just wishful thinking on the part of a desperate geriatric;)) the stamina increase will help with surviving attacking Hordes.

    Also,does anyone know if water walking pots will stack with haste pots?

    Unless they changed it, while I wasn't looking... you can't really hasten fishing. I have very little passive haste, but using Icy Veins (20% spell haste) doesn't really influence the casting time.

    Someone with enough passive haste might want to try it, but I doubt it'll work.

    Don't bother with Haste, but do get Run Speed on your boots!

    There's some discussion regarding haste here. The overall conclusion was that haste did not reduce the cast time for fishing.

    Might still go for run speed increase(ty Caniki) for my angling boots though.Although I spend most of the time mounted(and therefore benefitting from Crusader Aura),the small gain when on foot can't hurt,and might be the clincher if I try my luck with the water walking pots at the outlying islands near the Bloodsails again.
