[Fishing] Fastest way to skill?

    So. I've just skilled fishing from 225 to 276 and counting in Theramore, as this page says it's the fastest way (Alliance)

    However, I've started to notice that it takes more and more fish for each skill lvl.
    Would it be smarter to go to some other area, WPL or Tanaris for example, and continue? Or will the raised amount of fish needed apply to all areas?

    Fishing skill-ups only depend on successful catches, not fishing difficulty, so it's best to fish with a high enough skill to never have one get away. Theramore is "fast" only because you need to start and end Nat Pagle's quest near there to get Artisan fishing.

    There's also an issue before 300 skill at the moment, which is causing skill-ups to take a lot longer than they used to. After 300 it should go back down to about 10 catches per skill-up.
