Where is your Fav fishing spot?
I don't really have a "set place" but i do how ever like to go and fish where its private or some place inclosed or on a Boat/Dock.

When I was leveling my fishing, my favorites were under the docks in Menethil and that little river in Silverpine. Going for the dark herring, though, the big cave in Daggercap Bay was my favorite-even better since I got tells to split up the tedium from people on the boat once in a while!
I think mine would be STV... just sit there all alone fishing... its fun =D

Yeah after getting the Bloodsail Pirate Outfit and Achievement and only at 336 fishing i stayed with my new family and fished along side them near the big pirate ship, in my new outfit of course.

Azshara is still home for me, spent many days of played time fishing up stonescale eels and elemental water out in the Bay of Storms. Those were the days when maybe 4-5 people on the server were actually accomplished fishermen, and you all knew each other because you were the only people with eels up in the AH consistently. Made some good friends during my time out there!
Currently though, since I rarely have a reason to go back "home" I've found myself enjoying the quiet vitality of Grizzly Hills. I find a nice secluded spot next to a group of trees along the banks of one of the creeks up there and catch myself some tasty salmon.
I'm with ya on Grizzly hills...it's a great place to fish. Very relaxing.
I also like to fish off of docks. Any docks. It's just very reminiscent of home and childhood to walk up to the end of the dock, sit down and cast a line. I personally like Valiant Keep dock over all the others, but any dock will suffice.
Old school was no doubt Azshara. Days on end filling bags, hearth to AH, return and elemental pools would be respawning. Anyone else fish there enough to figure out how the 6 pools are linked?
Outlands, when not watching the clock for Pure Water pools to respawn, was a small pond just above Stonebreaker Hold formed by a waterfall dropping out of Lake Jorune.
Northrend currently would also be Grizzly Hills, on the river in the forest above the east coast. There is however an island to the far north of Storm Peaks, possibly Icecrown, has a boat docked and a small hut with a campfire outside it that would win hands down if one could fish there.
Mine would have to be the Oasis's in the Barrens and that's pretty much where I got money for my 60% mount payment and where most of my fishing level came from
My fav spots are
Moonglade while leveling
for money revenue Blue sky logging camp in grizzly hills. There are so many nodes by the time you have done a loop they have respawned.
very easy to get to from Alliance flight path & mobs that are there are generaly neutral to players so no worrying about getting ganked by them.
It has changed several times as I leveled.
In lower levels it was Redridge off the docks mostly for the healing potion drops.
Then it was on a sandbank on the east coast of Stranglethorn Vale.
I also funded a mount on fishing in the oases in the Barrens, but more often I fished in wailing caverns at around level 55.
Then it was on a hill in Feralas that overlooked the river and was safe from pats.
In BC it was at Lake Ere'Noru, and Lake Jorune looking for the infamous Mr. Pinchy.
In Wrath it is off the dock in Moa'ki Harbor, you get a good smattering of other fish. I have been spending a good chunk of time near or in front of Fort Wildevar trying for Dark Herring and I like the music there.

There are a lot of pretty places, but for a mixture of scenery and nostalgia, my favorite is probably Lushwater Oasis. Of course, this was long before Fish Tracking; now it would be hard to stay still with the pools of Deviates popping up.

There's a nice area that's obviously set up as a fishing spot above the Westwind Refugee Camp in western Dragonblight. There's a small encampment up by the first tier of the waterfall, and there's usually a pool there or on the opposite shore. Plus, there are a bunch of refugees fishing down below in the camp, who don't seem hostile to either faction.

Later, the Bay of Storms, Azshara. Ditto, especially at lower levels.
In Outlands, Nagrand (on the lake near the horde encampment, by the cliffs), my all-time favorite zone.
In Northrend, one of the blocks of ice near the penguins (with Pengu out, of course).
I am sooo looking forward to 3.1 because it sounds like the lake in Wintergrasp is going to be interesting.
I, too, was a Bay of Storms junkie back in the day. I did have a favorite spot when I was out there. I was a level 60 resto druid at the time, which meant I was a real sitting duck on a PVP server. I would swim all the way out to this little chunk of broken building and butt myself up against the edge so that I couldn't get backstabbed or stealthed up on. Only very rarely did I see anyone out there, although I saw people more often after the pools of elemental water were implemented.

Personally, at my level, I love the inland fishing in Hinterlands (Sunscale Salmon and Nightfin Snapper buff-food FTW!), and of course the occasional Barrens jaunt for Deviate Fish is always good too.

I have a certain nostalgia for my night elf's roots--Teldrassil and Darnassus.
I had always seen the npc Crildor walking around Darnassus, but it wasn't until I decided to do some fishing there, that I noticed he also will stop and sit by the water. This made me curious, so I looked him up and found out he was created as a memorial.
My Favorite Fishing Hole is in Bay of Storms in Aszhara. If you water walk out into the Bay, past
Scalebeard's Cave and Heterea's Clutch, you will find a Swirling Malestrom. I have fished there
looking to catch the 22pound Lobster, no luck yet!!!!
