[Fishing] Feedback on fishing guide

    I've just completed leveling cooking and fishing from 1 to 300 using your guide at http://www.elsanglin.com/fishing_and_cooking_horde.html

    The guide is great, however I consisitenly go way more fish per stage than the guide suggested. I believe it is because the rule of thumb about the number of caught fish per skill point is not accurate. For example from 290-300 I caught about 120 fish. From 290-298 it was about 9-10 fish per point and from 298-300 it was 13 fish and then 15 fish. This is just an example as it happened from about skill 150 on.

    Not a huge deal but thought perhaps more experimentation is needed to determine the actual fish per level instead of the at http://www.elsanglin.com/role_of_skill.html

    Thanks for the guides they are great. Now that I'm at 300 I guess I need to level a bit more. (This is on my druid who is only 44.)

    True. The number of catches required per skill-up point keeps on changing with each patch. I am fairly sure the current skill-up is bugged, since it makes no sense to increase the number of catches at low-level, just when the skill cap has been raised. I guess I should probably re-write the guide now. It shouldn't radically alter the overall strategy, just the number of fish caught.

    Quite true. The guide is complete and accurate except for the fish numbers. Could probbaly just not give fish caught numbers and instead just say at what skill you'll get on average.

    In my run through I pretty much turned every cooking recipe used grey with well over a hundred fish left over.
