I know that there a lot of other threads about this, but I don't want to share.
All of the work, all of the attempts finally paid off today.
Thank you to El and all of the others who have posted advice on how to win the tournament.
Now one more win and I can retire from the tournament.

Congratulations!!! I know just how you feel. I won for the first time yesterday, too. My wife thought I had lost my marbles running around the house demanding to be addressed as "Master Angler". She was actually pretty excited, too (a first as she thinks I waste too much time). I spent the rest of the 'ganza swimming around in fish form, bothering people's bobbers and feeling like the Grand Marshal.
Congrats to you both....i just won it last week for the first time myself and took the trinket.
Im about two hours away from the start of the tourney and i also just randomly caught the 1 ring......my thanks also to the site and all advice posted by its readers.....
