xamaz, it looks like the fishing pole is now on your toolbar, not your fishing skill. Try going into your spellbook, and dragging the fishing icon back down onto the toolbar (pictures in Your First Catch).
This has been causing confusion for 5 years now. I never understood why fishing poles don't have an "on use: fish" ability...
