sorry, call me naive but i really don't get it. everyone who participates in the extravaganza wants to win. so what's the point in wasting my and YOUR valuable time by starting to gank me while fishing? I just find it so frustrating..

Well as sad as it is not everyone trys to win it the same way. On my server many people get guildmates to gank the other side to make it more likely they can win. I have also seen people try and make it so members of there own side cant win by having friends move in front of my bobber so I cant click on it. Making it more likely there friend can win it sucks but what do you expect from some of the people I have seen on this game. I also know a few non fishing friends and enemy who want easy Honor by killing someone with a fishing pole and fishing equipent, equiped it makes for an easy kill on a PvP server.
