Experiences, best fish to sell, best place to get them, or anything else to do with making gold with your fishing pole and lots of free time! I'll start it off with the average AH price for a stack of fish from wowhead, and from my server if it's significantly different. Only fish that have a northern spice food plus glassfin minnows and pygmy suckerfish included. Fish-per-hour for each to come if I can get motivated enough to, or if some of you anglers post your numbers!
Bonescale Snapper 10g/stack (Both)
Dragonfin Angelfish 40g/stack (Wowhead), 75g/stack (Ysera) ~4 stacks/hour hitting the pools in Dragonblight
Fangtooth Herring 20g/stack (Both)
Glacial Salmon 40g/stack (Wowhead), 65g/stack (Ysera) ~4.5 stacks/hour hitting the pools in Grizzly Hills
Imperial Manta Ray 30g/stack (Both)
Moonglow Cuttlefish 40g/stack (Wowhead), 70g/stack (Ysera)
Musselback Sculpin 40g/stack (Both)
Nettlefish 60g/stack (Both)
Glassfin Minnow 50g/stack (Wowhead), 10g/stack (Ysera) ~5.5 stacks/hour hitting the pools in Crystalsong
Pygmy Suckerfish 100g/stack (Wowhead-probably not accurate since the patch), 5g/stack (Ysera)
If you happen to have an alchemist handy, turning the suckerfish into oil is probably better since you can get about 30 per stack of the fish, and they sell for 20-30g per stack.
6420 casts in Howling Fjord open water for my dark herring ended up giving me about 5-6k gold, over the course of a week-not the best place for pure gold getting but if you're going after the herring you can probably expect a little under a gold per fish.
If this thread manages to get enough good posts, I may update the first post with new information for e-z-reedin' so people don't have to go digging through.
