Been using the page for a while so figured I'd say hello and write a small introduction from cold, snowy Norway... I've been an angler for a very long time, as it was one of the first proffesions I leveled when I started WoW more than 3 years ago.
Sunday I am so going for the extravaganza... It's my turn now! God knows how many times I tried it, just always bad luck, wether its ganking or loads of junk fishes.
I fished for Crafty for days, nothing. I got it through the bug when i did my baby croc quest on tuesday. Didnt know then it was a bug cause I havent been reading these forums much, but realised something was off when my hunter happened to get the same thing 5 mins later... I think I was kinda happy with it, but thats cause I had been fishing alot for him already. I find it abit to easy if you didnt even try the "right" way first atleast, but just knowingly go for the bug asap. That's not how it should be done imo.
I am usually a person that has no luck on my main. I fished for Mr Pinchy for months, never got him. Untill my boyfriend one day decided to get some golden darters on my char and fished up two within 10 min. Damn lucky bastard as always.. I was actually kinda happy then though, cause I spent a huge amount of hours trying to get him. Also kinda annoyed at my boyfriend naturally :P
The baby crocs I have done the quests for since they were implemented. Nothing yet.... :( And I'm a pet collector so it sucks bigtime..
With Ironjaw I amazed myself as I pulled him on 25th catch today. I was basicly sitting here with my jaw open, was expecting days of grinding.
My 15 pound mud snapper I was also lucky with I would say. Dont have an exact count of how much I fished for it, but ~1000 catches +/-.
I have a thing in my head that the 15 pounder has a higher droprate from the pools at the little farms outside Orgrimmar, but that might just be luck. Anyone else have experience on that?
