So everyone thinks the next expansion is going to be either about the Maelstrom, or Emerald Dream. Now, I for one, am praying for Maelstrom, just because Fishing will be very interesting.
Also, I hope that if Aquatic Mounts become a common thing, they will make the Sea Turtle move 100% speed in water.
What do you guys think? If Maelstrom is the next expansion, how are they going to make it so you can fish? I mean, if you're underwater already, how is that going to work?
If it's Maelstrom, there are probably going to be goblin islands, so it's not like we will be underwater all the time.
I kindof hope that its not going to be there, if we have to fight. fighting in water is my absoluted un-favourite place to fite in.
Well, that's why I'm fishing for my turtle atm. Also, I just went to the STV tourny and won :). If I didn't know about the next expansion, I probably would've chosen the pole, but the trinket is gonna be very handy there.
There is now officialy said to be underwater content. That's why I just got my Sea Turtle: however the real aquatic mounts will have flying speed, this is just too cool for all that underwater content <3
el <Nat Pagle's Love Child>, 3 months ago:From memory (it's been a long weekend, and it's only Saturday), they've stated that combat would be normal (like land combat) underwater if your feet were on the sea-bed. But you could also swim up into the water, which would be like normal swimming.
Also, while the Sea Turtle will be useful down there, they'll be introducing new faster underwater mounts in Cataclysm.
Worth adding that the underwater zone is one of the two level 80-ish zones (just Like Borean Tundra vs Howling Fjord) - so if you really don't like being underwater, I assume you could just play the other zone.
Uggggh... This expansion sounds so stupid. I was so excited, but the story sounds ridiculous. I'm quitting. Bye bye El's. It's been good.
There are a LOT of changes coming, and it will certainly be interest, but how can anything involving Deathwing NOT be cool?!?

The sunken city part should be VERY interesting for fishing. Also, there was a rumour i heard that you would be able to make Gnomish submarines with engineering when Cataclysm comes. I wonder if youll be able to fish in lava as theres gonna be so much of it around.
