[Fishing] How often does Crocolisks in the City show?

    So I made level 70 and quickly started doing the Daily Fishing (and cooking) quests in Outland. However I've noticed that I have yet to get the fishing quest "Crocolisks in the City". I have done each of the other quests at least 3 times. So my question is how often does this quest show up? Is it actually a rarer one or am I just incredibly unlucky?

    I think you are just unlucky. For some reason the daily always seems to go in streaks, or at least it feels that way.

    The Dalaran cooking daily is worse. It feels like I've been doing Infused Mushroom Meatloaf every other day.

    I think I've had Crocs twice since 3.0.8, and I've done it every day except perhaps 1 (still want the hat, and a croc pet would be nice!).

    See that was my concern. I've done it every day since I hit 70...including the time since 3.0.8...so I'm hoping that it's just my server not liking me. Hopefully soon though. My fear is also maybe there is some sorta weird pre-req for the quest that no one has ever heard of....that somehow I missed and everyone else has it :-p

    I don't think any one is rarer than another, and it seems to be random. There was a time recently where all daily quests that I did were stuck on the same for about four days, but after the next server maintenance, this was fixed.

    Crocolisks has come up twice this week on Aman'Thul so I'm stoked! I didn't get any Bucket Pets, though =(

    I've done the daily fishing quest about 45 times or so, not exactly sure...every day since my DK hit 70. I've only been given "Crockolisks in the City" twice. So for me, that's about 4.44% on what should be a 1/5, or 20%.

    So yeah, the bucket pets seem very far off for me :(

    I FINALLY got to do the Crocolisks in the City one. Let's see here. I hit 70 on 1/25/09..then finally got it on 2/20/09...that's 27 times I did the daily fishing quest. So 1/27 chance of Croclisks for me :-p It'll probably pop up all the time now :c)

    The "random" dailies like fishing, cooking, etc. appear to come up as the same daily after a server reset (though WHICH daily changes from realm to realm). I know after a patch if the server gets reset nearly every day, I'll be seeing the same cooking and fishing quests. That can skew the randomness.
