[Fishing] increased drop rate for croc minipets?

    I can agree on the increased drop rate.
    I just did the daily on doomhammer EU server, on both my 80s, and both got a pet.
    But did it yesterday also, but no pet. So its increased deffo, but dont know by how much tbh,

    Yup - both times I did the croc daily it's been a 100% drop now. Guildies are saying the same thing...

    I just completed my set yesterday. Im on Undermine and the croc daily was there 2 days in a row. Dont know about 100% but i did get a croc both times i did it. :)

    It's improved, but is not 100%. Personally, I've completed the quest 5 times since the patch, and have gained only 2 crocs (1 of which I already had).

    This pissed me off that they increased the drop rate, not because they did it, but because it happened 1 week after I finaly got #4 in the set..........:(

    I have completed this daily 4 times since patch and got 3 different crocolisks, so now I have complete set.

    This is getting annoying... Did the daily 6 times, and got 5 pets in total, but everytime it's snarly again. Anyone noticed this pet dropping more then others?

    I have all 4 crocolisks, 2 of them before WotLK and got 2 after current path. No drop duplicity.

    Just to add anecdotal "evidence" - I used to do the Shattrath fishing daily on three toons, almost every day - aiming primarily for the fishing hat which I got on all three toons.

    In all that time, not a single toon got a pet.

    I picked up the Shatt daily the other day (it was Crocs in the City) on a DK (who, of course, also fishes), and got a pet for it.

    It's no evidence, of course, because it could have been pure luck, but does tie in with what others are reporting - and I was previously unaware of this potential drop rate change previous to 3 minutes ago when I read this thread... I guess the 3 original "Amigos" will be spending time fishing up Crocs in the City yet again! :-)

    Done it 5 times since 3.2, had 4 crocs, 2 of which were the only one I managed to get before 3.2. Glad they upped the droprate, it maybe seems a bit easy now, but given the amount of times I've checked Shatt for the quest not to even be up (had something like 5-6 weeks with no quest up on the days I could get there, maybe it only popped on the days I was offline), I'm very glad to have a better shot at getting the pets.

    attempts: 23
    baby crocs: 13
    non-duplicate crocs: 8

    9 Aug: alt got new pet (now have all 4 crocs btwn both my toons), spouse got a duplicate pet and a new one
    10 Aug: duplicate pet
    18 Aug: no pet
    21 Aug: duplicate pet
    31 Aug: no pet
    5 Sep: no pet, spouse no pet
    (yes, over 3 weeks without the daily)
    30 Sep: new pet, alt new pet
    3 Oct: no pet
    5 Oct: duplicate pet
    10 Oct: no pet, spouse new pet
    11 Oct: no pet, spouse new pet
    13 Oct: no pet, spouse new pet (now spouse's main has all 4)
    16 Oct: no pet
    17 Oct: new pet, alt duplicate pet

    now that my main finally has all 4, this post will no longer be updated

    I'm 3 for 3 in my recent Crocs in the City Daily. 1 for 2 years before that.

    I haven't been fishing the Shatt daily much because I've been leveling a priest who is (of course) 450 fishing, but not yet high enough level to do dailies.

    3 Muckbreaths and 1 Snarly over two characters :(.

    It took me 14 attempts on my main to get the last 2 crocs I needed, including a 3-week period without the quest. A bit unlucky, but statistically reasonable :) I kept any duplicates I received in my bank, and never received more than one copy. Scroll up for my final results.

    Muckbreath, the one I wanted from the beginning, was the last one, of course :)

    After a long hiatus from WoW i started once again, First time doing Crocs in the city again and on the first hand-in i got Chuck's Bucket. I'd say this has been buffed :)
