[Fishing] Jeweled Fishing Pole.

    Hey there Dalgul of agamaggan here.Long time lurked first time poster.Just a little theory here about the dalaran dailies.Basically remember the croc daily in shaft you had to fish in a main city to fish up a croc and complete the quest.This was the only quest with a chance of receiving a croc pet from the bag.Would this apply to the "Jewel of the sewer" daily where it it was the only daily to receive the jeweled fishing rod ?Anyone who got the pole care to tell which daily they received their pole from?

    The bag of fishing treasures for the Dalaran daily are all the same "type" of item (same item number), so they all have the same kinds of prizes, including the special poles. The bag of fishing treasures from Barlow are two different types; the Crocolisk in the City quest has its own special bag that might contain a Croc pet.

    Which is to bad because it seems 4 days a week it is Jewel of the Sewers it seems. I am glad it is just one bag to worry about. Ilm I alone thinking the croc should have a chance to drop out of any of the daily Shattrah bags already? I mean c'mon its been years now lol.

    Wow ... you are lucky, it seems like 80% of the time we are off recovering a severed arm.
    I'd much prefer the nice close Sewers then having to go back to one of the starting areas...

    Still that severed arm gave me my Strand Crawler yesterday, so am happy atm....

    I got my Jeweled fishing pole from the Dangerously Delicious quest. One of the only times I've done it-I usually skip that one as I'm not really interested in fleeing for my life while trying to fish(which I did that day-I fish right next to the flight path-huge group of Alliance headed over while several people were fishing, I hit the flight path!).

    I also got mine from the Dangerously Delicious quest reward bag. I've done the Dala dailies every day I'm on, as I want the bone rod too, and having asked other guild members who have the jeweled rod, they got it from different dailies, so, yes, random loot is indeed (pseudo)random :)

    I have done the fishing daily on two toons (80 priest and 73 mage) every day since 3.1. No pole, no crawler. : (

    It can be found in any bags. I send a minion to do this (since i am not welcome in dalaran) and i have gotten it from the Ghostfish quest. (And yes, i can steal BoP items from minions.)

    Jeweled fishing pole dropped for me today from the bag after turning in The Ghostfish.
    Bone fishing pole dropped a couple of days ago from Blood is Thicker.
