So I decided to go for the Fishing Diplomat Achievement. Easy, right. Just catch something.
So, as an alliance player. I storm in to Orgrimmar to catch some fish. Then on my 25th cast I get Old Crafty. Wow.
So I then head to IF.
After 12 casts I land Old Ironjaw
I just hope others can share my luck.
Congrats! That's awesome, and could just be incredible luck (did you buy some lottery tickets that night?)
One thing that seems to affect Old Crafty and Old Ironjaw is the Crocolisks in the City fishing daily from Old Man Barlo -
when you have the quest, your chances of getting Crafty/Ironjaw increase.
When I had the quest, I fished Crafty up on my 2nd cast, though it didn't work for me on Ironjaw at all.
