[Fishing] Massive improvement in levelling rate?

    I had never bothered to level my fishing much in BC, so was at 270 when I started WoTLK.

    Decided to give it a shot - I liked to look of some of the fishing recipes etc.

    Two days ago, I level from 270 to 280, at around 10 catches per point.

    Today I logged on, and went from 280-290 at around 5-6 catches per point. This suggests to me there has been a change over the last couple of days.

    Thanks MrMT. 5-6 catches per skill point at around skill 280-290, sounds like the leveling curve that existed between patch 2.4 and 3.0.

    I am now at 335 or so, and am levelling every 10 or so again...

    The leveling rate did increase between 290-300, but remained at around or below 10, and never reached the 13/14 that you mentioned as a possibility.
