    Caught Mr. Pinchy just after patch 3.0 came out while fishing Highland Mixed School nodes for the purposes of cooking.

    First Wish: Benevolent
    Second Wish: Pet. :D
    Third Wish: Furious

    Caught my third Mr. Pinchy, the first for my mage. Have only tried one wish so far but it was the pet so I don't really care about the other two now :)

    My druid caught the first two Mr. Pinchys and he got the pet from the second one.

    I caught Mr. Pinchy a while ago after farming for him off and on and as an avid pet collector I was hoping desperately for a Magical Crawdad of my own.

    Wish #1 - Mr. Pinchy's Blessing
    Wish #2 - Benevolent Mr. Pinchy
    and Wish #3 I saved until my guild was in Naxx and it was - A Magical Crawdad Box!

    I thought for sure I wasn't going to get it but two of my guildies said they got theirs on their third wishes too.

    Caught my first Mr Pinchy tonight and clicked him...

    Inventory was full..... and I never got a choice of dropping something... so I lost #1
    Don't know if it was a bug.... or if has happened to anyone else... but pass it on!
    just in case!..

    Will report on #2 and #3 later!

    EDIT... NEWS... He sent it back to me in the post... all was not lost...

    I missed pretty much the entire span of the BC, starting up my 60 toon I'd left years ago last fall only a few weeks before WotLK. I was leveling madly for a couple months, hitting 70 only a day after the xpac dropped, and then continuing on to 80.

    I was a little busy during that time to bother with my old passion of fishing, but once I was at 80 I felt I had some time to breathe so I went back to angling.

    I started doing the Outland Fishing and Cooking quests, and started fishing in the Highland Mixed Pools in the hopes of finding a Mr. Pinchy. Weeks went by with nothing to show for it, then one day, BAM! He showed up. I lost no time in getting my first wish, which turned out to be a Benevolent Mr. Pinchy. I'd only had him for about a minute when I aggroed one of those giant plant monsters that hangs around Skettis.

    I'd just started beating him to death when to my surprise a 70 Alliance showed up at my side to help. Though I'm on a PVP server, I'm not really into fighting other players, so I was glad for the assistance. We downed the mob in short order (not that I needed any help) and as soon as it was down, my crawdad friend proceeded to beat the crap out of the Alliance.

    Now maybe I was looking in the wrong spot, but I didn't see any pet control bars. Meanwhile Benevolent Mr. Pinchy was chasing the poor Alliance around Skettis. Mr. Pinchy was 10 levels above him, but I might have thought he could have at least put up a fight. Maybe he was trying to be nice and not kill my new friend.

    Whatever the case, I spent a while chasing them around spamming my 'Sorry!' emote. I finally lost sight of them after a few minutes. Mr. Pinchy still hadn't given up the chase.

    I never saw either of them again.

    Two days later I got my second wish and a rather nasty Mr. Pinchy tried to throw down on ME! I beat him to a pulp and left his broken body on the steps of the Horde bank in Dal, right next to another dead Furious Mr. Pinchy.

    And then as if my day couldn't get any better... I was flying over the high lake near Stonebreaker Post with my fish finder on and I saw a Highland Pool below, and though I wasn't planning on fishing at the moment, I couldn't turn it down. I flew down and tossed in my bobber, and started chatting with a friend about my Mr. Pinchy exploits. As if it were magic, I landed another Mr. Pinchy on my second cast! It made my day.

    Let's hope I get the magical box with the four wishes I have left.

    I did a fair bit of Mixed Highland fishing pre-WotLK, and never got a Mr. Pinchy. I headed back to Outland today to grind away (no need for lures with my 450 skill), and caught two Mr. Pinchies in about fifty casts.

    Pinchy #1, Wish #1: Furious Mr. Pinchy
    Pinchy #1, Wish #2: Pet!

    And Homer Simpson's lobster was named "Pinchy" not "Mr. Pinchy".

    First time catch 2 days ago. I'd given up.

    1. Benevolent Pinchy (Wasted it at Jorune Lake though).

    3. I'll save until our next Naxx run...

    Edit: 3 was Furious Pinchy just before we pulled Heigan :(
