    I've been after Mr. Pinchy since day 1 on blackwind lake, when you had to do battle fishing to cast. The mobs were more intense with crazed trees, tigers, Skettis, water surgers, and other stuff roaming the shore. All you could get off was one cast before you had to fight something. I finally got Mr. Pinchy, and here's what I got.

    1. pots, Magical crawdad box, third still in my bank....... on my youngest toon.
    2. pots, furious mr. pinchy, who appeared in the sewers of Dalaran. haha. on the toon I first took to the lake, and then I lost the 3d and spent hours getting it back. It was The CRAWDAD BOX.. The GM told me to calm down, while he/she looked for it. lol. Obviously he/she isn't an angler.

    I am the luckiest of the lucky.

    I started leveling fishing yesterday on my alt hunter. This morning, caught Old Ironjaw while leveling in Ironforge.. around 500 fish. Then went to Dalaran and fished the pond leveling up to 400. With Nat's quest I can now buff to 525 and hunt for the turtle.

    Figured first I would head to Outland. I fished form the 5 pools, did the achievement "The Lurker Below", (thanks to the help from this forum), did the Outland daily, then figured I would hit the pools and start the long quest for Mr. Pinchy. Well... after 23 total fish caught in Terokkar, I caught Mr. Pinchy.. then... crossed my fingers.. and woot... the Magical Crawdad is now mine.. :)...

    Just goes to show that luck can sometimes be good. Old Ironjaw and Mr. Pinchy on the same day, and the crawdad on the first wish.

    being a pet collector I felt for sure that I would not get the pet.

    BUT

    1. Happy Crawdad
    2. PET
    3. Angry Crawdad

    I couldn't kill him so I rooted him and ran away. He had just given me the pet a few days earlier so how could I hurt him.

    I got lucky. I'd only been fishing for Mr. Pinchy for a few weeks off and on while I was catching up on my Outlands cooking dailies... that whole time, nothing. Then a week ago I decided to make a serious stab at it and after about 1-2 hours of nonstop fishing I caught two Mr. Pinchy's in back to back pools. Talk about luck. Anyway, after a few wishes this is how it shook out...

    Mr. Pinchy #1: Blessing, Benevolent, Blessing

    Mr. Pinchy #2: Blessing, Pet, N/A (I haven't asked for a third wish yet ;) )

    I did catch two Pinchies in about 40 minutes from each other. Don't recall what the second Mr. Pinchy gave me, but the first one gave me the Mr. Pinchy's Blessing, Benevolent Mr. Pinchy and a pet on third use.

    I got lucky on this one as well. I went to the lakes in Outland and fished for about 15 minutes and got Mr. Pinchy i'd say around the 30th cast.

    1st: hp buff
    2nd: the crawdad that attacks you
    3rd: magical crawdad

    Now... to just catch one of the rare fish. I feel that'll be the one thing that takes me weeks!
