    I fished up 3 Mr Pincy's in 3 days because I was not sure how many it would take to get the pet and this is the last thing I needed to have Salty title number 3.

    2. Gift of Potions
    3. Nice Mr Pinchy

    4. Mr Pinchy's Blessing Flask buff (500 hit points)
    5. I heard a loud noise and got my inventory was full message.*
    6. Mean Mr. Pinchy

    7. Mean Mr Pinchy (got 700 exp for the kill)
    8. Mr. Pinchy's Blessing Flask buff for 1140 health (last time was 500 not sure if it is random or because I dinged 75)
    9. Mr. Pinchy's blessing again and it over wrote the one I had not used up before as it is an alt :(

    *I was so angry I was livid that I forgot to check bag space. As I opened my mail to send off some fish to clear my bags and pout about losing what could have been a pet- I see the letter with the pet on it. So, good news, you get the pet even if your bags are full.

    I caught Mr. Pinchy in just over 200 casts and stopped fishing for him while I waited the 6 days for all 3 wishes. Silly me! The day I returned to fishing for him I got another in just over 50 casts.

    Mr. Pinchy 1: Furious, Blessing, Gift
    Mr. Pinchy 2: Blessing, Gift, Blessing
    Mr. Pinch 3: Pet!

    After being discouraged by the 2nd Mr. Pinchy, I caught 2 Mr. Pinchys within 15 minutes of each other just to hedge my bets and end up getting pet in first wish. Yay!

    EDIT: I received a runic healing potion and a potion of speed for Mr. Pinchy's Gift today, before it was the super mana and super healing though.

    Fishing for about 25 mins at Blackwind Lake, no luck. Decided to check Lake Ere'Noru, found one school and got Mr. Pinchy on the first cast. Made one wish and got the pet right away. Total time farming Mr. Pinchy on US Runetotem: ~30 mins =)

    I must have really bad luck! I have WAY over 500 casts and not even 1 Mr Pinchy. I have been fishing at 560, but I do not think that matters. I have caught 342 Crawdads, 93 Golden Darters, 15 scrolls, 8 Enormous Barbed Gill Trout, 5 Huge Spotted Feltail, about 17 boxes, and 10 Vendor fish. I have spent several hours catching this over days and many times all 3 lakes have no pools. I guess this was nerfed in update. I support myself by fishing and have caught WAY over 500 fish in pools in Northrend and no turtle either. I wonder if Blizz wants people to quit fishing. They have made it harder to hit target even as GrandMaster and now they make it so if you really fish you can't get it, but the people who don't get it in 30 min?

    Just caught Mr. Pinchy after 32 casts, couldn't believe my luck. I guess it balances with 3674 casts to catch the Giant Sewer Rat.

    I consider myself very lucky since I got my Mr. Pinchy within 200 catches doing cherry picking in the small lakes and then I got the pet on my second wish. I'm on a low pop server obviously.

    I think I may be one of the luckiest people around, because it only took 102 casts to find Mr. Pinchy. I started fishing in Outland on 11-18-09 for about half and hour, and the next day 11-19-09, for the same amount of time, and viola! There he was. I flew from lake to lake, and found my Mr. Pinchy in Lake Ere'Noru.

    Wish #1: Magical Crawdad Box
    Wish #2: Mr. Pinchy's Gift (4 Runic Health Potions, 4 Runic Mana Potions, 6 Potions of Speed)
    Wish #3: Mr. Pinchy's Gift (4 Runic Health Potions, 4 Runic Mana Potions, 5 Potions of Speed)

    This is a list of the things I caught:

    56 Furious Crawdad
    22 Golden Darter
    7 Motes of Water
    6 Magical Scrolls (2 intellect, 2 strength, 1 spirit, 1 agility)
    5 Barbed Gill Trout
    3 Curious Crates (3 Fel Iron Ore, 8 Knothide Leather Scraps)
    1 Enormous Barbed Gill Trout
    1 Huge Spotted Feltail
    1 Mr. Pinchy

    Got Mr. Pinchy on my 78 human DK, Crunchybits, on Turalyon. So far:

    Wish 1: Mr. Pinchy's Gift
    Wish 2: Mr. Pinshy's Blessing

    Crossing my fingers for wish 3!

    After reading the guide I picked up lots of lures and was ready to fish my heart out.

    I caught Mr. Pinchy on the second cast and got the gift right off the bat.

    Jw if they increased the drop rate, not that i'm gonna look a gifted horse in the mouth or anything ^^

    Caught Mr. Pinchy within first half hour of attempting on my 80 DK. First wish gave me the pet and achievement. I think they must have increased to the drop rate by alot.

    Good God...some of the posters here as so lucky... I guess posters which are lucky just post their results fasters than the unlucky few, so the results shown here might be a bit biased.

    I was trying to get Mr. Pinchy ever since TBC. After well over 5k casts I finally caught one a few days ago. Fortunately, the first wish granted me the pet (and also "Salty" title).
    Getting the sewer rat also took me well over 5k casts. Less than 100 casts later I got a second sewer rat while doing the fishing daily. I still have the second one in my bag to remind my of the harshness of RNG.

    Still going for the turtle mount. Just 1k casts so far, so judging from the previous...wish me luck...

    I sure wish I had got a screenshot in time. ... no one will believe it without proof, but I'll share anyway.

    I finally got around to doing some fishing achievements on my new raiding main, and was in Shatt doing the old daily for an extra shot at the fishing hat (which that toon still doesn't have /sigh).

    Anyway, I fly around casting once in each pool for the Outland Angler achievement. I get down to southern terorkar, and imagine the shock when my first cast in a highland mixed school lands Mr. Pinchy, and BANG, ZOMG, WHAM, first wish is a pet. Outland Angler and Pinchy achievements flash on-screen within seconds of each other.

    Of course, rng gods still have not favored me with a tourney victory. Still, this was a great fishing experience, and a fun story to share.

    a few months ago fished a single highland pool for the pools achievement... recently set out to snag the elusive one himself... first pool: 5 furious Crawdads. second pool: first 2 casts yielded 2 Mr Pinchys back to back, followed by, 2 furious crawdads and a golden darter.... just got my magical crawdad wish granted a couple of minutes ago, from the first Mr Pinchy. here's my results thus far... will update as wishes come true =)
