    My first char was the first on her server to catch crawdad but I saw several other people get Mr Pinchy before I finally got mine:

    1. Pots
    2. Buff
    3. Pet

    Recently on my 4th char I decided to level her fishing. I began fishing crawdad at 366 fishing skill and within a few minutes fished up Mr Pinchy.

    1. Buff
    2. Pots
    3. Benevolent Mr Pinchy

    I was gutted that I didn't get the pet and have fished over 200 crawdad since. Didn't count the other fish or items.

    Still waiting to get another Mr Pinchy and I agree the wait between cooldowns is excrutiating.

    Hi I'll add my results but please two quick comments first:

    1) Thanks so much for this site, which has been an incredible help in the scant couple of weeks I've been fishing, I'm really enjoying a secondary profession I'd otherwise never have tried!

    2) I'm one of those people you hate statistically. I got Mister Pinchy on my 3rd cast ever at 375 in a Terokkar lake. If it makes you feel any better, I'm known as the guy who never gets the drops in my guild, and also, at least I appreciated it when I got it (due to this site), it wasn't a "oh I bet everybody gets these every day or two", I was stunned and appreciative beyond belief.

    Anyway I got even lucky(er) with my wishes:

    1) magical crawdad (yay)
    2) benevolent (who went crazy just before stv extravaganza deciding all pirates must die)
    3) furious (who went crazy on me in front of the scryer's inn, causing absolute confusion)

    It seems I have caught Mr. Pinchy quite a bit. I do fish for crawdads as I use them in raid. Here are my results to the best of my recollection. They are not necessarily in order within the subcategories.

    And yes, it is a shame the pets can't be given as gifts or sold. Seems like such a waste to have to simply throw them out as I can't imagine wanting more than one pet. :(

    Prior to actually using Mr. Pinchy, i read through throughly the posts here and i guess that i have a fair chance of getting the pet (which was my aim after all! XD).
