[Fishing] My lucky catches.

    Well, i started fishing last week, just cos i was in Dalaran getting a Kirin Tor tabard, and saw that the eventide fountain was there. So i decided to fish to GM, i got that on Monday. In the process of that, i found out that coin master will take you 16-18 hours starting at level 1. (I got coin master on tuesday)

    Well, to my luckiness.

    I got Giant Sewer Rat in 67 catches.
    I got Old Ironjaw in 43.

    :O

    Would you call that serious luck?

    Oh and, I'm pretty sure im the first level 13 on my server with Coin Master, and maybe the first in the world, though i doubt it ^_^

    It is also the devil known as RNG, or the Random Number Generator. Something that has a 1 in 1000 (or even a 1 in 10,000) catch rate can be caught by the lucky on their first catch.... or the unlucky on their 17,000th.

    Random truly is random.

    There are 4 that I don't think are technically possible at level 13, because either they require higher-level quests, or access to higher-level dungeons: Chasing Marcia (quest), The Deadliest Catch (quest and dungeon), The Lurker Above (dungeon), and Old Man Barlowned (quest).

    Some others are technically possible but probably only with help (such as a summoning/protection party): Pinchy, some other pool fishing (especially Outland Angler), cross-faction catches.

    Some, like the Sea Turtle become easier at high level, because you aren't restricted to certain areas, and can move between pools quicker.

    Others, like One That Didn't Get Away or a home-faction Ironjaw or Crafty, are just as easy at level 13 as they are at 80.

    It says that it is believed to be level 70 that is required to do the dailies in Dalaran.

    Was sick and home from school, since I had nothing to do, I began fishing for Pinchy.. once again.
    After about 2500 casts I caught him, and got the pet on first wish! After that I thought too myself: "Hey, I'll give Sea Turtle a try".

    I HS'd to Dalaran, mounted up and began my flight to Lake In'dule, Dragonblight. (Knew my mate caught his Turtle there aswell). As I went there, I equipped my fishing gear, applied the lure from my hat. After that I calm said to myself: I'll give it an hour.

    Took me four casts, the pool didn't even get to dissapear, before I had looted my precious Sea Turtle. This is luck, eh?

    Anyways, I stronly recommend: Lake In'dule, Dragonblight for the Sea turtle. Two turtles has been caught there now. :)
